March Against Monsanto, Boise

Two million people marched in protest against seed giant Monsanto in hundreds of rallies across the U.S. and in over 50 other countries today, and Boise was no exception. I joined several hundred people to march from Julia Davis Park to the capital for a rally. We wanted to make people aware of the dangers of GMO foods to our bodies and to the environment and to support our local farmers.

In the bottom pic, I am the one in the black sweatshirt holding the sign that looks like a giant ear of corn, shaped to look like a grenade to the right and down from the podium. Unfortunately, my head was turned.
